Meet Paul Niedfeldt
Paul founded Laurel Shores, LLC to acquire one enduring greater Knoxville-area business, step into it full time, and lead it with the care and long-term orientation of an owner.

Paul brings more than 10 years of experience helping complex organizations make better decisions, improve operations, and invest for the future. His background spans management consulting, corporate finance, and public accounting.
He is now applying that experience as a prospective owner-operator. Unlike a traditional private equity firm assembling a portfolio, Laurel Shores is focused on finding one company where Paul can personally lead the next chapter.
Paul and his family live in Maryville, Tennessee. His geographic focus is intentional: he wants to be present in the business every day and remain invested in the employees, customers, and community for the long term.

Personal foundation
Paul and his wife feel blessed to be raising their seven children in Maryville, Tennessee, after intentionally choosing the Knoxville area as the place to build their life. Outside of work, Paul—an Eagle Scout—volunteers as a Scoutmaster in his son's troop, is actively involved in his church, and enjoys hiking and camping in the Smokies, cheering on BYU football, and smoking brisket for family and friends.
